Cricket Field Map: free cricket field planner

Cricket Field Map is a free online tool for planning cricket fielding positions. Pick your playing XI, drag players onto named positions on a top-down ground, and save a field for each situation: powerplay, death overs, spin, pace or a left-hand batter. Then send the plan to your team as a link they can open on their phone.

Who is it for?

It is built for club and school coaches, captains and parents who run junior teams. If you currently draw fields on a scrap of paper or explain them in the huddle, a shared diagram makes sure every fielder knows where to stand.

What can you do with it?

Learn the positions and rules

New to field settings? Start with the guides on powerplay fields, death overs, left-hand batters, spin bowling and pace bowling, or browse all guides.

Frequently asked questions

What is a cricket field plan?

A cricket field plan shows where each fielder stands for a given batter, bowler and match situation. Cricket Field Map draws it on a top-down ground so the whole team can see it at once.

Is Cricket Field Map free?

Yes. The planner is free to use, with no sign-up and no account.

How do I share a field with my team?

Create a share link in the planner and send it by message. The plan is packed into the link, so teammates open it on their phones without installing anything.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Once the page has loaded, or after you add it to your home screen, the planner opens without a signal. Your plans are saved in your browser on that device.

Can I plan a field for a left-hand batter?

Yes. Switch the batter to left-hand and the field mirrors automatically, so off side and leg side stay correct.
