Privacy

The short version: Cricket Field Map has no accounts and no database. Your squads and field plans stay in your own browser.

What we store

Your squad, playing XI, field plans and match notes are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. We cannot see them, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Share links

When you create a share link, the plan is packed into the link itself, after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part of a link to the website, so the plan is not stored on a server. Anyone who has the link can see the plan, including the player names in it, so share it only with the people you intend.

Exports

PNG, PDF and print exports are created in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Analytics

We do not use analytics or tracking cookies.

Links to other sites

Some links go to other sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Hosting

The site is served by a hosting provider, which may keep ordinary server logs such as your IP address and the pages you request. We do not use those logs to identify people.

Children

Many users are junior coaches and players. Because we collect no personal information, there is nothing to collect from children. Be careful about putting full names of young players into a share link.
